9月初时值农曆7月15日盂兰盆节，大觉莲社特别举办地藏法会，恭诵《地藏菩萨本愿经》 一部（含上、中、下卷）；透由法会诚心礼佛、诵经、祈求、发愿，至心皈依叁宝，祈愿冥阳两利。愿效法地藏菩萨「地狱不空，势不成佛」的大愿力，供上一盏地藏悲愿明灯，许下菩提心愿，也为家人祈福。法会之後，诵经小组将连续6天，加诵《地藏经》两部为供灯祈福者迴向。
法会当天上午(10:00~12:00) 诵《地藏经》上卷及中卷；下午(1:15pm – 2:00pm) 诵下卷，中午备有素斋供应。只能来下午场者也可以提早到，一起享用午餐後再诵经。(2:00pm 法会结束後有捲经活动, 欢迎留下来一起造一份殊胜共业。)
此次法会开放给学员供养素斋，有吉祥斋 ($50) 或圆满斋 ($100) 供您选择，欢迎同修发心广结善缘。供斋所得若有盈馀，都将归入常住。
